Working collaboratively with clients in finance, audit, and compliance organizations, we co-create integrated solutions that connect people, processes, and technologies to navigate accounting, reporting, and compliance matters.

Our services include finance and accounting advisory, revenue assurance, FP&A advisory and support, risk advisory, and process automation and transformation.

We are busy and sometimes crazy busy delivering exceptional results to our clients with trust, quality, and humanness. Our name 'Bough' means the main branch of a tree - a name that keeps us grounded in nature and emphasizes our belief that we wish to be the main branch on which our clients and employees lean with trust.

For any position we are hiring, we don’t just want you to be an ambitious, analytical, multi-skilled, risk-taking go-getter for Bough. We want you to be more. More for yourself and for anything you undertake. Socially responsible, intuitive, empathetic, trustworthy, thoughtful, imaginative, creative, and curious are some words that resonate with us. Your skills are a qualifier, and we believe that each of us is much more than the skills we bring to our job - the person we are looking for...

Role Overview
We’re looking for the ones who don’t simply report the numbers - they interpret them. Builders who understand that forecasting is storytelling, budgeting is strategy, and FP&A is the connective tissue of a high-velocity organization. If you operate at the intersection of analysis, intuition, and leadership - you’ll thrive here.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and performance management for clients
  • Build models that drive decisions, not spreadsheets that just reconcile
  • Translate drivers into narratives CFOs and business leaders can act on
  • Challenge assumptions; sharpen trade-offs; raise the quality of decisions
  • Design KPI frameworks and operating cadences (MBR/QBR, variance, actions)
  • Improve planning processes across functions (Sales, Product, Ops, G&A)
  • Own FP&A systems: selection, implementation, administration, and optimization
  • Create durable artifacts: model logic, documentation, and repeatable templates

Qualifications and Experience
  • 5+ years relevant experience (consulting or in-house) with increasing scope/ownership
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience); MBA/CA/CFA a plus
  • Strong FP&A fundamentals: forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, business partnering
  • Advanced modeling skills in Excel/Google Sheets; SQL a plus
  • Experience managing or implementing FP&A/EPM tools (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, Planful, Pigment, Oracle EPM, Workday Adaptive)
  • Comfort working with senior stakeholders (CFOs, Finance leaders, functional heads)
  • Industry range welcome; technology-sector experience is a strong plus

Preferred Skills
  • Structured thinker with executive-ready communication - clear, crisp, and confident
  • Builder mindset: you improve the planning engine, not just run cycles
  • Analytical rigor with practical judgment; able to turn ambiguity into options and actions
  • Stakeholder management across Finance, Product, Sales, and Operations; earns trust quickly
  • Documentation discipline (model logic, versioning, assumptions) and control mindset
  • High integrity and confidentiality handling financial data; bias to action in deadline-driven settings
